Sophia has been doing something for the last week or so that I have not given thought to – until today. Sophia has taken to dropping onto her hands & knees & crawling about. Add to that – meowing & you are beginning to get the picture. Yes, she is acting like a cat. Sometimes she is Patches (our cat), sometimes she is Shadow (one of her cats), sometimes she is Cheshur (which is how she says, Chester, the other of her cats). She has been perfecting her imitation with the passing of days. On Sunday, she finally began to rub her head on my leg like one of the cats!!! It is hysterical to watch her. When she takes to “being a cat”, there is no convincing her that she is a girl & getting her to get up off of all fours.

While we laugh at that, today I realized that there are times, I am just like Sophia. That I have an identity problem. That I forget I am a Christ follower. That I forget my identity is found in Him & Him alone. I forget that He alone gives my life purpose & meaning. I think there are days I could probably wear one of these :)) —

Today may I remember that “In Christ, I am loved &:

blessed, chosen, adopted, accepted, redeemed & forgiven.” (Beth Moore -from her study,  Believing God).

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God.”  1 Peter 2:9

That tells me that God has chosen to make a big deal out of His people. Let’s believe that today!!! Let’s live like that today!!! More so, may we view each other in light of this truth!!!!
