So this morning was the CBD Warehouse sale. The kids & I have done this so many times together & it still continues to be an adventure each time!! This morning Lisa was coming just to keep me company, she was not going to buy 🙂 Until the woman walked by us with a Veggie Tales Just Dance Game…..Now that was something Lisa wanted to get for Sophia who 1) loves Veggie Tales & 2) loves the Just Dance video games. This would really be something Sophia would LOVE!!
So the hunt began. We asked an employee where in the warehouse we could locate the game. We were told that it was a discontinued item & would only be found on the clearance table, IF there were any left. We headed toward the clearance tables & upon seeing the mass of people, decided, no – we were not going to push our way through to search through the sea of products strewn about the tables.
We moved upstairs as I needed some books located upstairs. Lisa headed towards the sign that said “KIDS” & I headed in the opposite direction. As I walked passed a table, there right on the top of the table, this is what I saw!!!!
Sure the box was broken. But WHO CARES!!!!! There it was, the desire of Lisa’s heart, right in front of me!!! With my eyes welling with tears, I brought it over to Lisa. Neither of us could believe it. The two of us were overwhelmed with the goodness of our God. To think, right there in the middle of CBD, God showed up to delight us & cause us to delight in Him as well!!!!
