Over the last few days, there has been so much talk about the royal wedding. I have been so surprised of the number of people that have commented to me that they had set their alarms for 4AM in order not to miss a single part. One person even told me that she had bought a “royal mug” to have her coffee in that morning!!!

Interesting it is to me how everyone loves a fairy tale. From when we are so young, we read books, watch movies, buy dolls, wear clothes that represent the “prince or princess” theme. Every girl dreams of her “Prince Charming”. Every guy his “Cinderella”. We all want that special person in our lives that makes us feel special, feel wanted, feel loved. We all want that one person that is going to rescue us. Every one of us. No exceptions.

This all got me to thinking….There is a Prince that has come for us. For each & every one of us. The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Christ. He did come to rescue me & to give me life (Colossians 1:13).

We are given a very good description of our King in 1 Timothy 1:17 –

“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor & glory for ever & ever. Amen.”

Yes, the Prince of Peace has come already. And one day He will return yet again.

“I saw heaven standing open & there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful & True.” Revelation 19:11

No royal wedding, no prince, no princess here on earth will ever be able to match that entrance!
