                             
Today is Father’s Day. Some interesting facts about Father’s Day:
- it first became a national holiday in 1972, being instituted by Pres. Richard Nixon
- it was meant to complement Mother’s Day
- it celebrates fatherhood & male parenting
- it has become more commercial than Mother’s Day (how weird is that??)
I have been blessed with the best dad! Sorry, but I just was :)) Hopefully you feel the same way about yours. So Dad, here is your medal:

Now the kicker is, with the arrival of a new generation, you also became the best “Packa”. You do get an award for that but being the first “Packa” ever, but finding that award was a little more of a challenge to find. That is appropriate for you as you have surely brought laughter to our family & no one knows that better than Sophia!!!! There surely is no one that she would rather have fun with than you!!!! And that is a gift for sure!!!!!!
Thank you for being who you are, for loving each one of us & for always being there for us. You have touched every one of us deeply. So Dad, amidst getting all these “awards”, KNOW that I love you!!!! After 54 years of having you for my dad, I have never loved you more than I do today.
