I read this quote last night…

“If you really want to understand a man, don’t just listen to what he says but watch what he does.” (Maurice Blondell).

Another way to say that might be – Make sure your walk lines up with your talk.

What we do each day & how we live truly does matter. It matters to God & it matters to those around us. Our lifestyle is important & can & should make a difference. Christ put it this way:

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven”  (Matthew 5:13-16).

The manner in which we live matters because it is through us that those around us will see Him. They us are watching, whether we realize it or not, to see if we are authentic, genuine, the real deal.

May I ask myself, may you ask yourself – How am I doing? What are they seeing in & through my life? May I live my life in such a way that the answer to these questions will resoundingly be:
