Here we are – October 29, 2011. And we are having a Nor’Easter.
What is amazing about this storm is that many of the trees still have leaves on them that have not even changed their color. It is still fall. The leaves are not even raked up yet as they have not finished falling.
It looks absolutely beautiful outside. The trees are bending & there is a hush outside. A quietness. A stillness.
All of this tonight has brought this verse to mind:
“The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.” (Psalm 103:19 NASB).
God’s sovereignty rules over it all. He made the weather. He made the seasons. He is over the times.
Bottom line?
He can make it snow whenever He decides. Newscasters are calling this storm, “record breaking”. Interesting to hear.
