Yesterday was Election Day.
This morning some of woke up to disappointment. Some were elated. No matter what we were feeling, common to us all is this responsibility:
“I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness, This is good, and pleases God our Savior.“ (1 Timothy 2:1-3 NIV).
We pray for those in our government, whether we voted for them or not. Whether they are our candidate of choice or not. And why?

- This pleases God our Savior
