“Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.”
(Psalm 37:4, NAS)
“Lord, each of us finds challenges in each season of our lives. Help us today to cultivate faithfulness right where we are. Give us the spiritual eyes to believe that You will work this situation out for our good. We come in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
(taken from Own Your Life by Sally Clarkson, page 14)
Today I am joining with … Sunday Stillness and Give Me Grace and Still Saturday and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & A Snapshot .
“Give us the spiritual eyes to believe that You will work this situation out for our good.”
This line speaks volumes to me today – visiting from Scripture and a Snapshot!
Grateful it did. May we believe Him more in the coming year.
I love that verse and the reminder to trust.
We so need to be reminded now & then. Blessings!
What an interesting picture for the verse. It makes me think of working at faithfulness like we would a garden.
It is continuous. I’m glad the picture illustrated exactly what I was hoping to get across. Thank you for sharing!
“Cultivating faithfulness” fits right into my word for 2014…expectant. I am studying faith and want to expect God to be wherever He is and that I will see His Handiwork at the very moment He needs me to. Thank you for sharing and glad you are my neighbor at Still Saturday.
Caring through Christ, ~ linda
Linda, may you see Him each day as you look with expectancy for Him. I have so enjoyed reading of the words each of us are focusing on in the coming year. Blessings!
Good sharing, good thinking. Thanks!
I so appreciate that you always encourage. May you have a most blessed 2015!
