Life will present challenges to us; and to each of us, those challenges will be at varied times, intensity, and experience.

Challenges (as defined by dictionary.com) is “a call or summons to engage in any contest, as of skill or strength; a call to fight, as a battle, a duel”.

As we face that which challenges us, may we realize the battle is unique to us. None exactly the same. There will be similarities but even our approach will reflect our individual personalities and quirks.

We should not minimize the struggle of another, for to them, their challenge is hard. To them, it is insurmountable, unyielding. Each day takes every ounce of their energy to press on and through.

It is easy to elevate our own difficulties over those of another. Instead we need to ask God for compassion, for eyes to see as He sees. He knows we are a frail and fractured people, but He sees us as victors, able to overcome in His strength.

May we encourage one another to trust Him in every situation. Let’s remember to ask this very same question:

“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14, NLT)

Let’s encourage each other to believe – to believe God …

The only thing “too hard for the Lord” is our deliberate and continual disbelief in His love and power, and our ultimate rejection of His plans for us. Nothing is impossible for Jehovah to do for those who trust Him.
(Streams in the Desert, November 5, page 417)

We can navigate those uncharted waters as He leads the way through, He only asks us to trust Him.  As we keep moving forward each day, in time, it becomes the very place we are eventually refreshed, renewed, and filled with a new purpose.

May we respond to the question,
“Nothing is too hard!”
