Grace. God’s grace.

Grace originates with God. Grace “denotes the limitless kindness and mercy of God that is freely given to human beings undeserved” (from the Expository Dictionary of Bible Words) .

His grace was there before the foundations of this world.

His grace is there, each and every day of our lives, whether we acknowledge it or not.

And His grace will be there, in endless supply, for us to access as the needs arise in our lives.

The quote comes back to mind …

Grace is the healing generosity of God that touches us so powerfully that nothing is ever quite the same again. (Calvin Miller)

Yes, such a wonderful definition of grace. Grace … it’s the generosity of God upon our lives that brings the healing to our souls we so desperately need.

Grace interrupts. Grace invades. In fact …

The very King of Heaven came into our world. Grace enveloped in the body of a baby. Grace was swaddled and now swaddles us, keeping us bound to Him. Grace has touched my life and thankfully, my life has never quite been the same.

And. Grace. Comes.
Grace shows up in a manger.

“From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” (John 1:16, NLT)
