We seem to think that God wants us to give up things! God purified Abraham from this error, and the same process is at work in our lives. God never tells us to give up things just for the sake of giving them up, but He tells us to give them up for the sake of the only thing work having, namely, life with Himself. It is a loosening of the bands that hold back our lives.

Trusting the Lord is all I can do, forever and ever. He has had me live in many of the Genesis sections… and the whole other portions of the Bible to Revelation… and how to see the way He is turning into the info and lives and focus of people. In our present-day world, it’s quite a challenge with millions and billions of people turning strongly to our Heavenly Father or turning to other gods. My heart is focusing on the Lord, but it’s a sorrowful and scary day. Anyhow, thank you for sharing. Bless you!
