Kate Motaung is hosting a special linkup today – Top Posts of 2016. I now know why I have not ever done one of these …. I have no idea how to look at my stats and figure this out. Seriously.

My feeble attempt will bring you one post from each month that I “think” was a top post:

  1. Like Watchmen of Old. With my one word for 2016 being “See”, I continued to learn to stay alert so as not to miss the response of God.
  2. Roots & Sky. The cover of this book is what initially drew me to want to read it. But each word resonated one truth to my soul: God is in each season of our lives, and He makes His home with us.
  3. News. The world has been rocked by heartbreaking stories and photos this year. May we remain steady as we hold onto the good news that our Lord will care for us and is always faithful.
  4. Surprise Visits. My Utmost For His Highest was once again my devotional of choice this past year. His timeless words are always on time.
  5. Offer the Little. This year has been a year of discovering this: When we offer up the little we have, our little becomes more than enough. It becomes excess. Abundance. And no one goes without.
  6. Your Kingdom Come. May our prayer continue to be, “May Your Kingdom come. Let Your Church arise.”
  7. Be Salt. Salt the most common of seasonings yet it brings out the uncommon. And we are called to be remain salty while here on the earth.
  8. Leaving A Positive Legacy. Right smack in a book on leadership, I found three wise thoughts on leaving a lasting and godly legacy.
  9. In The Quiet. We need the quiet times in our lives, for it is there, we most often find God renewing, replenishing, and restoring our lives.
  10. #NationalKnockKnockJokeDay. This was such a fun post to write because I so loved those days of driving my children to school and laughing over silly jokes. It resonated with many of you as well.
  11. Blessed By You. This benedictine monk continues to remind me to “Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you. Then it will really be a good day.”
  12. Receive The Echoes. This one is probably my favorite this month because of how deeply it rooted in my own heart.

May one encourage you today!
