“I will bring them to my holy mountain of Jerusalem, and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer.” (Isaiah 56:7a, NLT)

There’s only one offensive weapon in the armor of God – His Word.

God tells us that He will bring us to prayer. Even if I fail to pray with discipline, God persistently invites me to join Him in prayer. I simply need to be faithful to pray whenever He brings prayer-worthy subjects to mind. By building up an arsenal of scriptures in my heart, I can now intercede anytime. This has freed me to a life of praying “without ceasing.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:17).

One of my greatest joys now is praying for seemingly impossible things.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, teach me more about intercessory prayer. Thank you for Your persistent invitations to join You in prayer. Thank You for answering the impossible, because I know that all things are possible with You. Amen.
