“You set the boundaries of the earth, and you made both summer and winter.”
(Psalm 74:17, NLT)

Back in 1887, a groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, began predicting the weather on Groundhog Day, February 2. If this highly acclaimed meteorologist comes out of his hole and sees his shadow, that means six more weeks of winter weather … The bottom line? Spring eventually  comes, regardless of whether of not the groundhog sees his shadow.

Wouldn’t it be nice if something or someone would predict your future? Will the figurative storms in our life continue to rage or cease? How long will a season of hardship and suffering continue?

As you cling to the promises found in scripture, you will find hope. Blossoms will bloom!

Prayer: Father, whether I’m walking through heavy snowdrifts or dancing in the field of lilies, I’ll praise You because I believe that spring is on its way or has already come!
