Perhaps like us, your house has been up way later than usual watching The Olympics …

“The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities, Let’s celebrate together!” (Matthew 25:23, NLT)

As the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, are well under way, scriptures tell us that the most important training you can commit to is faithfully serving and abiding in God’s Word. Like an Olympic athlete that can be so intensely focused on winning the prize, focus on being faithful to Jesus Christ, Father God, and His Word, because in God’s eyes there is – and will be – a standing ovation waiting for you!

Prayer: Lord, here I am. Speak to me through Your Word. I want to receive all the rewards You have in store for me. I desire to one day hear you say, “Well done good and faithful servant!” – which will be the best reward of all. Amen.
