It snowed again.

I woke up one morning last week to the most beautiful sight out my windows. Sheer white. Everywhere.

The trees were blanketed in glorious white, and as the sun came up, it glistened like diamonds. It really was breathtaking.

So I stepped outside on our deck in my slippers and pj’s to take a few minutes. The hush and stillness adding to the glory already seen.

Coming back into the house, I was taken with the peace I felt.

Then the weather turned differently – it was more like spring. There are glimmers of a green hue on the trees and bushes. The sight of them whispers of hope – hope of what it yet to come. Hope of growth once again.

God uses the changes in seasons to speak His message over us. A message of peace and hope and salvation.

“I would have despaired unless I had believed that
I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord ;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord.”
(Psalm 27:13-14, NASB)

So much is going on all around us in our neighborhoods, our country, and the world. In her post, “Praise the Lord, Come What May”, Lois Flowers brings much encouragement. “From dawn to dusk. Come what may. Praise the Lord.” Read her full post HERE.
