How I have missed being with the kids the last few years & only upon doing VBS this week did I even realize just how much I missed doing VBS.
Kids are GREAT!
Which is probably why Art Linkletter LOVED them & did, “Kids Say The Darndest Things.”
My daughter, Lisa, & I are doing the three year old class at our church this week. Amazing to me is the fact that no matter what question we would ask, of our 13 three year old students, we would get the same answer….
“Can you name something we should be grateful for?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you name a person we should show gratitude to?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you name someone that has shown you compassion?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you tell me someone that has shown you forgiveness?”
“JESUS!”
So you get the gist 🙂 In driving home together, we were laughing about how the kids would answer “Jesus” to everything. And then, we stopped laughing. To realize how three year olds could teach us something so simple, so profound….
Jesus truly IS the answer. To every problem, to every question, to every need.
“And my God will meet ALL your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:19 NIV).
