A few weeks ago, we bit the bullet. Our house is now in the process of getting all new windows & resided. Who would have thought it would take weeks? But it has been interesting at least.

I love the new windows!

Not quite sure what it is about them but everything just seems so much clearer, bigger than life & impressive when I look through them to the outside. I am beginning to wonder if the new windows are not magnifying glasses! These windows have made looking out at the yard so enjoyable.

For the last few mornings, I have sat & watched the sun come up. The first morning was totally unplanned. I was sitting on the floor, playing with Sophia, when all of sudden I noticed it.

The sun was coming up in a slightly different place than it had all summer. It was more to the right in the back of the yard. The way in which it came up & then the light came through the woods in the back of the yard was just breathtaking. No words will do. The bare trees seemed to make room for the rays to come bursting forth & shine on the wet leaves & grass on the ground.

Having found this beauty to be mind boggling, I made sure to check it out the next few mornings. Do you know, not one sun rise I have seen this week was exactly like the one before? What does that say about the creative mind of our Creator?

And here is me…sitting, watching the sunrise yesterday & this is the thought that goes through my head….

“These windows are letting me see so much more!”

I immediately caught myself & corrected myself….

“No, The Lord is permitting me to see more of Him displaying Himself!”

It was then that the Spirit reminded me:

 ”And have you ever ordered Morning, ”˜Get up!’ or told Dawn, ”˜Get to work!”Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  (Job 38: 12, The Message).

“Thank the miracle-working God, His love never quits.  The God whose skill formed the cosmos, His love never quits. The God who laid out earth on ocean foundations, His love never quits. The God who filled the skies with light, His love never quits. The sun to watch over the day, His love never quits. Moon and stars as guardians of the night, His love never quits.”Â  (Psalm 136: 4-9, The Message).

 “He tells the sun, ”˜Don’t shine,’ and it doesn’t; he pulls the blinds on the stars.”Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  (Job 9:7, The Message).

It is all His doing. All of it. And amazingly, no two have been alike this week.

See what I mean? No two quite alike. Get up early & see for yourself!!
