When I started my twitter account, I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy it. But with the encouragement of my children & with a desire to stay connected to them, I opened one. It constantly amazes me the connection, the reminders & encouragement that can come from 140 characters spurted off.

Yesterday I read a quote by Zig Ziglar, who recently passed away. I first heard of him when I was newly married & had just started a new job, in a new state, in a doctor’s office. A doctor’s wife frequently attended his conferences & was always sharing thoughts from his books with me.

Throughout the years since that time, I have heard him quoted & always enjoyed his thoughts. His quotes would cause faith & hope to spring anew.

And so, reading the tweet yesterday brought a smile to my face, a laugh to my belly & shot to my faith. My hope is that it will do the same for you. He once said:

Confidence is going after Moby Dick in a rowboat and taking the tartar sauce with you.

Did anyone say, “Pass the tartar sauce?”

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, Zig Ziglar!
