START —> to begin or set out, as on a journey or activity.
FINISH —>Â to bring (something) to an end or to completion.
So here’s what I think: The best thing you can do right now is to finish what you started last year and not let those good intentions grow stale. Your heart’s been in the right place all along. You’ve got what it takes to finish it up, so go to it. (2 Corinthians 8:11 MSG)
So, what have you started that needs to be finished?
“Go to it!”
Today I am linking with Simply Helping Him and Create With Joy and A Little R & R and Wordless Wed. and Doing You Well and Wordless Wed. and Winsome Wed. .
Just the little push I needed to get back to some things I started. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.
We all need one now & then 🙂 Glad you stopped by!
Good Morning! I am here from A Little R and R. (I’ve been here before, though!)
I love your post. So simple, but what a word for me. I do need to follow through, and it’s hard sometimes. I get distracted, or blocked, or worried, and off I go. Wrong direction though! LOL! I just wrote a post with this theme, so universal isn’t it?
Nice to see you again! Come on over and visit me on my blog some time 🙂
Ceil
Ceil –
You have been here before & I am glad you returned. I know that I can be easily distracted from finishing something I have started. May we both “go to it!”. I have visited & shared on your blog several times. This morning I have been there already 🙂
Have a great Wed.!
Joanne
Joanne, This is so true and you gave me a little push today to get moving. I’m trying to do too many things at once and I really need to focus on the one or two that are closest to my heart and stop going down “rabbit holes” on other things. Thank you for visiting me today. Kim
Those rabbit holes will get us every time! I know they do me. May we be focused & get the job done. So glad you visited, Kim.
This is so true! I needed this reminder today.
I think there were several of us that needed the reminder – starting with me 🙂
Thank you! Just this week I was listing out all my unfinished projects. This time of year always seems to be a good time to dig in and get some things done.
Yes, this time of year seems to be the right time for me as well. I think it is that I always wanted a fresh beginning with the start of school. May we both get things done that are on our list!
