This is an actual photo taken by my family while traveling in Iceland …
We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong, on Him, on Him. (Isaiah 53:6, The Message)
Gracious Jesus, I come to you just as I am.
I am sorry for my many rejections of your overtures of love. I repent of my callous and insensitive ways. Break my stony heart with the things that break your heart.
Jesus, you went through your greatest trial in unashamed agony and wept tears of deep, deep sorrow. In remembrance of your sorrow help me to week over my sin … and my sins.
For your sake and in your name, I pray.  -Amen.

Love this picture… a lonely sheep – we could be that but need the Shepherd. Let us focus on HIm who gives us life. Thanks for linking to Sunday Stillness.
Blessings,

What a treat! To see the photo and the connection to the Lord and the Word. A smiling one! And a thanking one. Bless you.
“Beak my stony heart with the things that break your heart”. Yes, this is my prayer today. Blessings!
