“For God loved the world so much  that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17, NLT)

Sometimes the story of salvation can be explained as such:

As an illustration, I took an orange out of my pocket and said, “I can believe that this orange is good for me. But until I pick it up and eat it, it does me no good. You believe that Jesus is the Savior. But until you accept Him for yourself as the sacrifice for your sins, you are not saved and the Holy Spirit cannot come into your heart. will you do this?

Prayer: Oh Father, reveal Yourself through the Bible stories being shared today throughout the world. Amen.
