This day, 32 years ago, I married the love of my life. I cannot believe that 32 years have passed since we walked down the aisle!!! Where has the time gone???? Through all the twists & turns that life has brought us through, you are surely my best friend!!! There could not have been another man that could have been as perfect for me as you. For that, I will always be grateful to our God for bringing our lives together.

I am glad that we have survived. May our children look at us & always know that it is possible. Every married couple faces days that are challenging to their survival. We have had them. We do have them. And there will yet be days to come that will be challenging. But we have survived & will continue to survive – one day at a time. May our love always be stronger than any challenge.

We are told in Matthew 19:6…

“Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”Â

I really liked that verse in the NLT. “Split apart”. There are not many things in life that we like “split” – split hairs, split skin, what about when our pants split?? Think about it. We go through the rest of the day – awkward, uncomfortable, distracted. That is how I would feel without you – uncomfortable & distracted because a part of me was not with me.

We throw the term around, “my better half” but in your case, there is much truth to that saying. And you have helped make me better just by spending your life with me. You have made life such an exciting adventure. Truly!!! So…

I love you more today than I did 32 years ago!!!!

See you tonight for our dinner date!!!
