The decision came after a long stretch of challenges and discussions on how to keep her safe.
After a few weeks of conversations to prepare her for the move, on a Saturday morning, the transition occurred.
There was a lot of activity as one apartment was packed up and another smaller apartment was filled with the needed pieces.
I noticed her standing in the middle of her new studio, nervously twirling a pink ribbon. She was too gracious and kind to express aloud her feelings, so she quietly and pleasantly interacted with everyone.
At one point, I quietly asked if she was alright, to which she responded, “It is all so overwhelming.”
And truly it must be most difficult to watch your cherished pieces being moved about, knowing you will need to transition to a new routine.
As someone who does not do well with change, I imagined myself having to make adjustments to changes.
I leaned in close to her ear for her alone to hear me: “Remember this one promise which Jesus said:
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5, KJV)
Her eyes lit up as she responded, “That is my favorite verse.”
She then quietly began saying it over and over to herself.
It was such a moment to experience as it reminded me of the importance of having Scriptures memorized.
Won’t you join me at Woman to Woman Ministries HERE as we take a look at the importance of memorizing Scriptures.

Today I may be joining … Remember Me Monday and Tell His Story
This was such a beautiful example of speaking hope and truth into an extremely challenging transition.
A lovely reminder, Joanne. Thank you.
