The illustrations are large and take children through a tour of the raccoon society where only one’s best stuff is given away. There are several wonderful lines by which children will grab hold of the concept of generosity:

• “Life is better when you share.”

The book brings two Scriptures to the attention of its readers:

“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. Whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of us should give whatever he has decided to give, because God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:6)

“A generous person will be blessed.” (Proverbs 22:9)

Each page uses  sentences that are sometimes simple, sometimes complex, and most times rhyme which will draw children in and hold their attention.

This is a hardcover book filled with fun while teaching children the principle of generosity and giving.
