While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,  and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”Â  (Luke 2: 6,7 NIV). 

A birth.

           A manger.

                          No room.

Funny that we know that. Yet – are we really any different today?

  Cards to write.

  Parties to attend.

  Gifts to buy.

          Baking to be done.

          Cleaning the house.

          Wrapping the gifts.

                    Decorating the house.

                    Relative to visit.

                    Gifts to be shipped.

                              Lights to be hung.

                              Meals to be cooked.

                              Stockings to be hung.

Well, you get the point.

                                                  Still no room.

                            We must make room for Christ in our lives.
