Christ In You

I read a book this past week, God in My Everything. You can read the entire review here. It was a wonderful book. The author closes with this blessing attributed to St. Patrick which I thought was just beautiful…..

May the strength of God pilot you,
May the wisdom of God uphold you, and
May the power of the Holy Spirit sustain you.

May Christ be in on your right side, Christ on your left,
May Christ be in front of you,
May Christ be behind you,

May Christ be under you, above you, and
May Christ be within you.

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Amen.

    St. Patrick’s Breastplate! Have you heard the hymn? Beautiful…and also incredibly long

    I’ve read/heard the St Patrick verses. Such reality, truthfulness, encouragement. And LOVE the photo. Thank you for sharing so beautifully.
