Today I am sharing over at Beth’s . I “met” Beth through her blog and sharing comments. Both her husband and son serve our country, and each one of us, as they are in the military. Beth is away and visiting with her husband one last time before he is deployed for Afghanistan. Keep her and her family in your prayers during this time of separation and adjustment. For today, she asked me to fill in for her. …..
My two granddaughters are similar in that they have the same parents. And yet, much to my continued surprise, they are so different from each other. As the days pass, I find myself delighting in their differences.
Recently this has reminded me of another set of sisters found in Scripture – Mary and Martha – also very different from each other.
Come on over to Simply Beth and read the rest of my post. Browse her site. You are going to come to love Beth as much as I have! I promise……..
Today I am linking with Three Word Wed. and Wed. Prayer Girls and A Little R & R and Wisdom Wed. and Winsome Wed. and Wholehearted Wed. and Whimsical Wed. and Works For Me Wed. and Wed. In The Word .

Oh sweet friend…thank you for your kind words here. And THANK YOU for guest posting for Three Word Wednesday. It truly was such a blessing to have you at my place. It warmed my heart to see others just shower you with love. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My time with my husband was wonderful. I’m so grateful to God for giving us those days together. I’m not trying to make my way home. Finding gratefulness for travel delays as it is allowing me to catch up on blog posts. Love you.
Beth – The blessing was truly mine! You have no idea what it meant to be asked. I am so glad that the days you had with your husband were wonderful. I knew God would bless your time. May you rest & hold dear those memories. Know that you were in my prayers & will remain there in the days ahead. Much love!
Thanks for linking up again! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all our armed forces who ensure our liberties are protected!
