“Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord say: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 37: 4-6, NLT)

May the words of my mouth, Father, and the meditations of my heart be found acceptable in your sight, my Strength and my Redeemer. Keep me gripping tightly to your truth, keep my digging in expectation for the mighty revelation of your witness. Forgive me when I settle for less – for the lies that camouflage as truth and proffer destruction rather than promise. In your cross, I anchor my hope and my sleep as well. Even so, breathe on me, breath of God and carry me through this day. Amen.
