“Some of the people went out anyway on the seventh day, but they found no food. The Lord asked Moses, ‘How long will these people refuse to obey my commandments and instructions? They must realize that the Sabbath is the Lord’s gift to you.” (Exodus 16: 27-29, NLT)
Today I am joining …. Give Me Grace and Still Saturday and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & A Snapshot and Sunday Stillness .
His gift! This Sabboth day is indeed a gift. I’m looking forward to worshiping God together with my whole family today.
Sabbath is indeed much needed & definitely a gift to unwrap each week. So grateful you stopped here!
In the way our world works out now, Sabbath hardly counts any more. Too much, around and about the world. Makes me sad, and I ain’t perfect either any more. Oh, well… as I often say, “God is BIGGER”. He can help us, forgive us, redeem us, and get us to go the right direction. Thanks for sharing.
Joanne, I haven’t gotten the Sabbath correct either all of my life. But I am slowly & intentionally trying to make changes. I am finding it is a gift to my soul So grateful you stopped here.
Gift received. Happily. Thanks for meeting me here every week Joanne. I really appreciate it.
It’s so true, Lisha, it is a gift but we must receive it. So grateful to you for pointing that out. I have been blessed to join you each week!
