“Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.” (Jude 24, NLT)
O God of love,
true light and radiance of our world,
shine into our hearts like the rising sun,
and banish the darkness of sin and the mists of error.May we, this day and all our life,
walk without stumbling
along the way which you have set before us;
through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.*(A prayer of Desiderius Erasmus, an early Protestant reformer)
Today I am joining … Give Me Grace and Still Saturday and Sunday Stillness and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & A Snapshot .
Lovely verse, Joanne, and such great encouragement! This might have to be my next memory verse!
🙂 Holly, I was thinking the same thing!
Have always loved that verse. Beautiful prayer that you’ve shared along with it too.
Thank you. It is amazing to think about being presented without a single fault. Blessings!
Thank you. The wording and Wording and photo fit together beautifully. And, among many Books, Jude is one of my favorite. Filled with reality. As I said, Thank you!
Joanne, Jude is so short & yet filled with so much. Glad you stopped here!
Well, today i stumbled. Literally. My messed-up pancreas can cause so much pain down my right side that my right leg will just fold, and down I go.
But I call back to the aggro of being a soldier-for-hire, and it’s “Right, let’s GO!” The pancreas will kill me one day…but not today.
But all the aggro in the world is useless unless you’ve got a focus, and unless that focus is on the one thing that’s always bigger and badder and brighter than yourself.
God.
May you keep relying on Him alone. Blessings!
Absolutely all glory to God!
I’m enjoying a peaceful still morning at home, and looking forward to spending the day outside after it warms up a bit.
So jealous 🙂 as it probably won’t warm up here for several more months. But enjoy some of the warmth for me! Grateful you stopped here. Blessings!
