I’m joining Kate Motaung for Five Minute Friday. One word prompt. Five minutes. No editing. Lots of women. All of us writing on that same word.
Today the word prompt is … Meet.
I read the word prompt and immediately thought, “He and I meet ….”
- in the early morning
- during naptime
- in my bed while I go through the day just finished
- in my car
- in the ER
- in a hospital bed
- next to a hospital bed
- in the shower
- on vacation
- on the checkout line in the supermarket
- wiping bottoms
“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” (Psalm 42:2, NIV)
“Such a high priest meets our need – who who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.” (Hebrews 7:26, NIV)
He and I meet all the time. And I for one, am most grateful. He will meet with me wherever I am, whenever I need, supplying whatever I need.
He will meet me.
He meets my needs.
