VBS.
Vacation Bible School.
VBS was a vital part of my childhood and where I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I can well remember my teacher, my seat, and my commitment.
This morning I found myself thinking back to the time my daughter and I were doing the three year old class at our church. Amazing to me is the fact that no matter what question we would ask, from each of the thirteen, year old students, we would get the same answer….
“Can you name something we should be grateful for?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you name a person we should show gratitude to?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you name someone that has shown you compassion?”
“JESUS!”
“Can you tell me someone that has shown you forgiveness?”
“JESUS!”
You get the gist. In driving home that day, we laughed about how the kids would answer “Jesus” to everything, simply because they were in church. And then, we stopped laughing. The group of three year olds taught us a lesson so simple, so profound….
Jesus truly IS the answer. To every problem, to every question, to every need. May we carry this truth wherever we go in life.
“And my God will meet ALL your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:19 NIV).
So what have you learned from a child today? Don’t miss the voice of God as it may just come through the life of child!
This is a revised version of an earlier post.
Today I am joining … Three Word Wednesday and Tell His Story and Coffee For Your Heart and Women With Intention .
Out of the mouths of babes, amen? If Jesus is the answer, then what is the question? That was the title of a blog I did a while back. He IS the Answer to every question. Yes, Lord!!! xo Glad we are neighbors so often on Wednesday!
