“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)
Peace that passes understanding, joy in diverse circumstances, contentment in whatever state we are in – these are lessons to be learned only as we pass through life’s experiences. While living in this world, God has promised us that He shall direct us as we trust Him. Whatever I might face, I know that God has it all figured out.
Prayer: Thank you, God, that You have everything figured out! I pray that You will direct my paths and that I will trust you completely. You are worthy of my trust! May we continue to lean on You rather than our own understanding. Amen.

Love that verse. Beautiful picture.
Good words for days when I forget that I am walking a known path and being led by a wise and loving Father.
Amen! The path is unknown to us and fully known by Him!
My husband and I are in the middle of big decisions right now. This could not have come at a better time. I just prayed that prayer standing in my kitchen. Thank you, Joanne, for this.
So grateful, Jamie, that you found encouragement in this prayer. I thank God that through linking up, we each find encouragement for our soul! Blessings!
Thank you for the lovely verse and the reminder!
My life verse!
That’s one of my favorite passages from the Bible. Your picture is lovely.
Thank you and blessings, friend!
One of my very favorite verses.
God has it all figured out! Isn’t that a wonderful promise? When we were framing our new home, we wrote these Bible verse references on several of the doorposts and etched the entire verses into the concrete of our basement floor. Standing on the promises!
That is just beautiful!
