As this Thanksgiving weekend comes to a close, I am compelled to share this …
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19. NLT)
This week is Thanksgiving … I came across a Thanksgiving poem … the words began to sink in, first to my mind, then to my heart: “Thank God there is enough. In God there is enough love to cover every mistake, enough light to brighten the darkest hour, enough power to meet every need.”
Prayer: You are enough, Father. Thank You for Your love that is enough. When circumstances overwhelm me, when situations seem hopeless, I know that You have enough power to meet every need. Give this reassurance to those today who live and work in extreme poverty. Amen.

Many of us will head out for Black Friday sales, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday. As many of you may know, The Lulu Tree is a ministry in which I am involved and love greatly. This beautiful gift catalog shares of the many ways you can give a gift and meet a need. You can find the catalog HERE. We would be ever so grateful if you would join us in prayer or feel to give.
Today I am joining … Open Sunday Thoughts and Spiritual Sundays and Scripture & a Snapshot and Sunday Scripture Blessings .
Yes, my heart needs this reminder often. His gifts, His presence, the circumstances of life all add up to enough in God’s amazing math.
Blessings to you, Joanne.
Michele, you said it well … God’s amazing math!
Amen and amen.
Enough! One word can mean so much! Such a good reminder when difficult times come.
Especially in those difficult times… He is enough.
“You are enough, Father. Thank You for Your love that is enough.” I will be saying this from now until the holiday season is over and hopefully beyond. I think this season brings with it a great deal of expectation and weight. It holds heady promise for perfect memories. But it is already perfect. Now and on December 25th and June 1 and September 13. It doesn’t matter the day really. God is the same.
Amen, Jamie. Sometimes the weight of expectations, when misplaced, brings disappointment. May we anticipate Him and thus find, all we need for He is enough. xo
All we need. So easy to just accept Jesus’ love and grace. The right kind of riches. 🙂
Amen.
You find the best quotes that speak to me so often!
Most grateful they do.
