Amid his many troubles, David, the man after God’s own heart, fully believed in God’s promises to him.
If you feel like you are forever waiting and praying for God’s promises to be fulfilled in your life, David would understand completely.
Today, no matter what you are up against, spend time with David’s song of praise, recounting the victories and grace the Lord has give you. Reminding yourself of His goodness and His help in the past will give you hope in the waiting.”

This is a great verse and a great reminder to hold on to. God is always faithful, even when it takes longer than we’d like to see the promises come true.
I have this marked off in my journaling bible. It’s not always easy to trust that…but it is true.
Remembering God’s faithfulness in the past has helped me through many a long waiting season in my present.
Getting behind that shield today.
