“For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” (Romans 3:23-24, NLT)

“If you are human, you have sinned. And if you have sinned, you are not worthy of the glory of God.

But thankfully the story doesn’t stop there. Everyone has fallen, but everyone is made worthy by the gift of the grace of God. It’s a mysterious gift – one that doesn’t just add to who you are or what you have, like other possessions that bestow some added honor or wealth. It’s a gift that changes where you stand. Without this grace, you sink to the bottom of the sea. With it, you can walk on water to meet your Savior.

Prayer: God, thank You for my gift of grace! Amen.”
