The familiar words come back to mind: “… in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

And yet on any given day, I can be overwhelmed … by my to-do list, getting caught up on the laundry, paying bills, work, or just thinking about all I need to get done.

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ Jesus who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow ”“ not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below ”“ indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 8:37-39, NLT)

While these verses point us to the power to overcome persecution and death, they can also be applied to our lives each and every day, even in the most practical of ways.

We can face difficulties and not just muddle our way through them by the skin of our teeth. We need not go to bed with a sigh of relief just glad the day is done. Rather we can put our heads down at night, with a cheer, for we came through the day overcoming the obstacles.

Join me at W2W Ministries for the rest of this post on how we can have overwhelming victory in our lives.
