I’ve been struck with how dark it’s been these last few nights when it was still “early”. Having not looked at the clock and only at the skyline, it seemed much later. Several questions went through my mind:

  • Was it this dark yesterday at this time?
  • When did it become so dark so early?
  • How had I missed the progression of darkness?

Have you ever noticed that we are not aware of how dark it is until the light is gone?

“Yes, the knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.” (Romans 1:21, NLT)

Romans 1:21 tells us something about this process.

The people that Paul is speaking about knew God. Their problem was that they were not glorifying Him as God. In other words, they would not worship Him as God, nor would they give Him thanks.

Won’t you join me at Woman to Woman Ministries HERE as we look at the importance of gratitude in our lives.
