Worship Works Wonders

Even though I fall apart
and my body’s now a wreck,
there is singing in my hear
and prayer in every step.
Even though my avocations
are drifting out of sight,
the gifted strength of faith-foundations
will endure the night.
Even though my very speech
is now nearly gone,
I am assured that all and each
word of praise goes on.
