Every Friday I join a community of bloggers for Five Minute Friday. One word prompt, five minutes. The prompt this week is … Stay.
I don’t want to stay in this time forever. I want to move on, and move forward from this season.
I want to grow and
gain understanding,
have greater compassion,
be filled with more knowledge,
so I extend kindness wherever possible.
I want to grow and be a reflection of Jesus in every place and to every one.
“So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.” (1 Peter 2:1-3, NLT)
Always growing! Always pressing on!
By grace…
And always by His grace …
Moving on into the wide open space of God’s grace! FMF#7
I want those same things in my life. Peter’s words are so appropriate for this time we are living in! Thanks for sharing.
We all need to crave that milk and pray for others to crave it too thank you for reminding me of that. – a fellow fmfer #4
