Funny how being held in a vise sounds horrible in any other context, but I want to be constrained by the love of God!
“Held in a vice” is not something I would normally want. In this context, it is everything I want. Beautiful!
The concept of wanting God’s fatherhood but not wanting to embrace the means that we are adopted as His own, the atonement, is a powerful thought.
Oh the love of God …so powerful and life-altering!
What an unusual way of looking at it – God’s love being a vice. But only in the best possible way, because I don’t ever want to be out of his grip!
