Yesterday our country learned about another tragic and horrific event. To do a linkup today just seems so trivial, and so, there will be none.
May we take this time to pray …
Lord, there is no way we can ever make sense of evil. Today we pray for the families who suffered the loss of their children, and for families forever changed. Bring Your peace and Your comfort.
Be with the children and teachers who witnessed this event which will forever mark their memories. Bring healing and help them in the days ahead. Give them courage to return to school when the new school year returns.
Be with all the children and teachers who must yet attend school. Bring Your peace to each of their hearts and minds. Surround schools with Your protection for You alone are our safety and refuge.
It is in Your Name we pray, Amen.

Yes, a time of prayer for those who are asking “why”. May their hearts and spirits find Jesus and may our Savior be their comfort and their peace.
Thanks, Joanne. No words for yet another tragedy. 🙁 Praying we’ll each allow God to move us today to do what we’re called to do to comfort and to prevent future tragedies, however that looks for each person.
Jesus wept and I also wept yesterday when I heard the news and saw the faces of those innocent children. Heartbreaking for everyone involved; their parents, community, other teachers, etc. I’m glad the commissioner closed the school until further notice. We are living in a world of evil on every side. God is still in control. It is time for Christians to stand up and speak up for righteousness.
May God have mercy on us in our nation. And may He turn hearts to Him, the only source of comfort.
Yes, pray. God is hearing every prayer.
Thank you, Joanne. Indeed tears cannot be held back in the face of this senseless tragedy.
Amen to your prayer, Joanne. Such a hard thing. All we can do is pray, show compassion, and keep proclaiming truth so that hearts will be changed and turned from such violence.
Amen.
Amen, praying with you and all. Only God can soften hardened hearts.
Praying.
