“A true friend is someone who always lets you in and never lets you down.”
(Tim Keller)
We all need friends, relationships, in our lives. To go through life without others would be lonely, unbearably so.
At a quick glance, Proverbs offers us insight into the qualities of a good friend:
- “A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.” (17:17, NASB)
- “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.” (27:6, NASB)
- “Oil and perfume make the heart glad, So a man’s counsel is sweet to his friend.” (27:9, NASB)
In Scripture, we have been called friends with God, showing us not only the important role relationships play in our lives but more so, three qualities to be found in a friend.
Join me at Woman to Woman Ministries HERE where we will discuss these three qualities to be found in a friend. Let’s commit to developing better friendships.
