Who is among you that fears the Lord, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.” (Isaiah 50:10, NASB)

“When we find ourselves thrown into darkness, the one great danger is that we shall start kindling fires encircling ourselves with our own pale flames in the hope that they will give us light by which to walk … Darkness will never be dispelled by men’s fires. Light is from God alone. Look up to Him! Even when all here is darkness, there is light there. And “in thy light shall we see light.”
