Last week I completed the study of Esther by The Daily Grace Co. It truly was a wonderful and timely study.
Let’s take a look at each of the themes which the study introduced:
- Divine Providence. God is working out His plans before events begin to unfold or we are aware of what is occurring. His plans are never thwarted and this truth should help us to trust Him at all times and in all situations.
- Human Bravery. May we always remember that we have been placed at this time and in this place for purposes we may be unaware. God will deposit in us all we need as we obey His call.
- Kingdoms. World kingdoms and God’s kingdoms will always be at odds with one another. No matter what events we see unfolding in our world, our future is secure in God’s kingdom.
- Human Evil. Human evil will always reside in the hearts of people. But God can use evil for His own purposes. May we not despair but hold onto this hope.
While the story of Esther brings many powerful lessons,
may we remember that God is always at work
even when we cannot see what He is doing.
“My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” (John 5:17, NIV)

I’m so grateful for God’s work in ways we may never know this side of heaven.
How you inspire and encourage with so few words. Masterful my friend. I sometimes think, as a rancher, that I am always at work. And while I try and include God in all I do, your post reminds me that I don’t even come close to working as hard as God works for me. Never tiring, never resting, He is working things for my good while I’m fast asleep. I am awed and humbled when I consider all He is working and doing for me that I’m not even aware of. Powerful post, ma’am. Thank you and God’s blessings.
