“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NASB)
“As believers, “we live by faith, not by sight” – God never wants us to live by our feelings …
Therefore we must choose between facing our feelings or facing the facts of God. Our feelings may be as uncertain and changing as the sea or shifting sand. God’s fact, however, are as certain as the Rock of Ages Himself – “Jesus Christ … the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
When darkness veils His lovely face
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every strong and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.”(from Streams in the Desert by L. B. Cowman, September 26, page 365)

Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot and Sunday Scripture Blessings .

I have been contemplating attending church more frequently and this verse has been in my mind.
I love this perspfrom Cowman. Faith is where true sight begins.
I am so glad to be revisiting “Streams” as my devotional this year. It always brings so much wisdom.
Those feelings do get in the way..sometimes I think devil driven..but always thankful for that nudge of reminder from the Holy Spirit
Amen!
Truth my friend! We can see God always when we look with the right eyes of faith!
A good scripture and a good word for today! We can overcome our fears with God’s facts.
