“Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:13, NASB)
Here Peter begins with the word “therefore.” I once heard it said, when the word “therefore” is used in Scripture, we should see what it is there for.
Peter draws us to realize, or think about, all God has done, therein, lies the “therefore.”
So what is he commanding us to do? And why is he commanding us to do so?
