Hmmm…words to think on for me.
And, our human nature or at least I always want resolve on the spot, and this scripture is a good reminder for patience as he does his work. Happy Sunday.
I always go back to the “when” in Isaiah 43– not if. Fire and flood are a sure thing, and so is his presence.

I”ve had two people come to me with dreams this week similar to your post-about light only for the step ahead. I believe God is speaking clearly to trust His leadership during these dark times when we can’t make out clearly the path ahead.
He gives us what we need day by day, sometimes moment by moment. But we can always trust Him each step of the way.
I needed to read this today, Joanne. How many times have I worried about something in the future that never actually happens? Thank you for this timely reminder.
So true. I keep looking for the way to be clear ahead, but need to just take it a step at a time and trust God’s working.
Joanne, hi! This is one of the lessons I’ve been learning in the past year … to let go of my worst case scenarios and expectations of doom and live one day at a time, knowing God loves me and will lead me step by step. I’m so grateful that I don’t have to figure it all out for the next 100 years.

Strength for today, daily bread, a lamp for my feet – all pictures of this idea that God provides what we need when we need it and that’s where our faith is put into action
We must depend on Him daily for all that we need – manna – we gather it each morning and it is sufficient for the day.
