“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess his name.” (Hebrews 13: 15, NIV)
“Worship does to the soul what a spring rain does to a thirsty field.
It soaks down, seeps in, and stirs life. Are you bereaved?
Open your heart to your Shepherd.
He will lead you through the valley of sorrow.Do you feel small?
A few moments in front of the throne of your loving King
will evaporate any sense of insignificance. Worship works wonders. For you own sake do what the angels did:
make a big deal about the arrival of the King.”(Max Lucado, Because of Bethlehem, Day 20)
Today I am joining … Scripture & a Snapshot and Sunday Scripture Blessings .
And worship is the antidote to all our busy-ness in the coming week.
May we find our way there every single day.
Blessings to you and yours, Joanne, as you celebrate together.
Even though I fall apart
and my body’s now a wreck,
there is singing in my hear
and prayer in every step.
Even though my avocations
are drifting out of sight,
the gifted strength of faith-foundations
will endure the night.
Even though my very speech
is now nearly gone,
I am assured that all and each
word of praise goes on.
Even though the body dies,
by Jesus’ grace, I shall rise.
So true, God is there every step of the way. Have a nice holiday as we say Happy Birthday Jesus in celebration and praise him always.
This is so true.. Prayer heals all broken souls
